On this page, I would like to share with you the inspiration behind the
development of Success Workshop and the unique value that this workshop can
offer you.
In addition to my engineering and MBA education, I spent about two decades of my
professional life studying the works of the world's leading social science and
management gurus. I made sure that I took notes from every success and failure that
I came across, be it mine or someone else's. I continued... until I built what I
thought was "the ultimate success knowledgebase", the "secret weapon" of the
brightest and the most successful...Now, let me be candid with you: I hate to
admit it, but beyond the "bragging rights" most of it was a waste of time,
effort and money.
I discovered that only about 20% of what I learned contributed to my success
and the success of my clients. After 16 years of research and experience, I
found that success comes from understanding and practicing a limited set of
personal and professional principles. Everything else, is just data. In the
information age the problem is not the lack of information, on the contrary it
is information overload. In today's Internet world Information is Cheap.
Education is Expensive. There are millions of articles, books and courses. The
key questions are: What is critical to your success? And what is not? Successful
professionals understand this best, they do not have the time to
waste on reading long texts or memorizing theories. They do not want to be
lectured. They want to learn three things: What are
the critical success factors? How do I apply them for the best return on
investment (ROI)? and How to avoid the pitfalls ?
